Holy Pig Drop

APRIL 27, 2024

Thank You For A Great First Holy Pig Drop!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible community for making the inaugural Holy Pig Drop a resounding success!

From Socks, the pig, the spirited diva added her own flair to the event, to Mayor Chris Jensen's expert judgment (and sense of humor) in evaluating the results, every moment was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to mental health awareness.

Congratulations to Ignite Center for Community on winning the People's Choice Award for their outstanding booth, and a special thank you to the Hamilton County Community Foundation for their generous support.

To all who attended, participated, volunteered, and sponsored this unforgettable event, your contributions have made a meaningful difference. We eagerly anticipate next year's gathering and the opportunity to continue fostering a supportive, compassionate community. Thank you for your dedication and enthusiasm!

Benefitting Mental Health Awareness

The Holy Pig Drop is a quirky event that combines great food, and community resources. We will have some fun while raising some money to remove the stigma of addiction, depression, suicide, and more.

The conversation about mental health among the faith community has often been overlooked, dismissed, and/or ignored. Our goal is to elevate the conversation about mental health, addiction, depression, anxiety, suicide, and more.

What Exactly Is The Holy Pig Drop Fair?

The Holy Pig Drop includes a country-style event that combines a meal, bake sale, mental health fair, and more. The main fundraiser is guessing where our pig will drop a "meadow pie."

Faith and mental health are not mutually exclusive; rather, they are supportive of one another. Faith communities have much work to do to address the shame, guilt, and stigma associated with mental health challenges.
